This month’s contest is really simple. I want to know what you are most thankful for in your life? All you have to do is post your answer to the discussion forum on the Thanksgiving Forum topic that I have created.

Two winners will be selected randomly from all the forum post entries.

Below is my checklist:

  • You will not have email me anything this time. You can simply leave a posting on the Thanksgiving forum topic.
  • If you are creating a new account for the forum, please enter your email address so that I can contact you after the contest is over. Don’t worry, your email address will not be public (only I will be able to see it).

    When I sit down to thank the list expands each and everyday but as I close my eyes its instantaneous and spontaneous that I Thank God for the lovely family He has gifted me with. So much to learn so much to share so much colours around and each lil bit is the inspiration for the nxt better step in my life. Wherever I am Whatever I am I have my roots here…. my loving family. Thanks so much to be with me and guide me always.

    Where there is a word “RELATION ” There is a word sadness called “SEPARATION”. I would like to thank the society ,Which gives me Both RELATION and SEPARATION Throughout my life.””Separation is a good thing”” when you started to separate your 2 lips a word is born from your mouth..!!!!     Hello madam… I am yhe most luckiest gal in this world.. I am most thank ful to my parents for giving me the best life.. best education and making me a better person .. I also thank ful to my two elder sis for guiding me all through this days.. and most thank ful to my husband .. to for full filling all my dreams and passion .. in the next birth i wold like to be born in the same fly.. same parents.. same two eldeelder sister.. same husband and most importantly same inlaws.. who love me the most.. they r the most integral part of my life.. always grateful to have in my life.. thanks for everything

    I am thankful for the inspiration Manjula has given me in my life. For years I have been searching for something that is not only a hobby but a passion, and something I can be excited about. I stumbled across her videos on YouTube and suddenly found a creative outlet through her recipes that have brought significant balnce to my life. After working a long day, I look forward to coming home to prepare new dishes for my family, and am in the process of reorganizing my kitchen so I can continue to create amazing dishes that my family loves. We are vegetarian, and finding delicious recipes for vegetarians can sometimes be challenging. The fact that Majula’s dishes are all vegetarian makes me love the recipes even more as they are cruelty free. Manjula exudes love and compassion for all people (and animals by not including them in her ingredients.) Not many people understand the profoundness of the decision to be vegetarian, Manjula clearly understands it and embraces it in her style of cooking. There is no greater joy than to prepare a meal with love (where no animals were harmed) and serve it to the people you love most. Thank you Manjula for all you do. Because of you, the world is a little better, and a little more sweet. 🙂 Namaste

    Hello All, I am from Bangalore, India. I got married in the year 2009 & moved to The USA immediately along with my husband. With God’s grace we were blessed with a Baby Boy in Feb 2012. He is now 21 months. Every mother finds her happiness in her child/children & for every mother her child is the cutest little kid on this earth.

    I used to feel awkward when people used to brag about their little ones, they used to go on & on & on – “My son/daughter picked up the toys by him/her self, played with the other kids, babbling of their first words, keeping first steps & so on. I used to avoid meeting certain people as all they used to do was to brag about their kids.. Recently had been to a social gathering & they asked me about my son, I told them about his activities, his day care routine, his playtime stories, It was a good weekend spent. Came home that night & realized that I have done the same thing as the other mothers.. All I did was brag about my son. That is when I realized kids bring such joy to every parent !! And not just Joy, they teach us responsibilities, duties, patience & more importantly our love & understanding towards family grows. My son can outgrow my lap, but never my heart 🙂

    I hereby say My husband & I are most thankful that god has given us our little Jewel – “Our Son”.

    First of all I want to thank God for being a God believer. Because, if I am an atheist, then I wont approach Him when I am feeling bad and upset, I wont thank Him for the blessings He is showering upon me. So I thank Him for being a theist and I pray Him to keep me believing Him always whatever happens in life. I need Him to be with me.

    I am very thankful for god and my parents for giving me such a world best husband because when I came after marriage I am not good at cooking but he always motivate me for cooking new things till date and now I become masterchef in his eyes. In lighter note, he says that “i m rat and you are my scientist. Cook Anything and experiment on me to get better result until you succeed.” Not only in cooking he always support in my daily routine and always love me and care me.

    All are born good. It is the environment that we are brought up and the hardships we undergo make us.
    I thank my parents who had given me a good environment besides basic intelligence and a healthy physique so that I have grown into a person with the essential power of discrimination.

    All of us ‘thank’ GOD, the Creator and our PARENTS, who give birth to us, siblings, who care and share, our friends,who deeply like us, husband and children who make us happy.
    We are also indebted to the teachers, who taught us, the doctors, who treated us when we fall ill.

    In a larger perspective, we should also thank the soldiers who save our country, the leaders who govern our country.

    I always feel sad about those who make mistakes in life. I pity them, I do not hate them because they did not get a good environment while growing up.

    Finally, I thank my parents who had given me a good environment besides basic intelligence and a healthy physique so that I have grown into a person with the essential power of discrimination.

    In my view, it is the environment provided by parents during childhood that contributes to the well being of an individual and I am immensely ‘THANKFUL’ to my parents who have provided me the same.

    I am most Thankful for just being alive, opening my eyes everyday to welcome a new and beautiful day. I was involved in an accident a few years ago and my car was a write off.
    I am also very Thankful to God because my daughter and son were also involved in the accident with me but Thank You God because we were not hurt, not even a scratch.

She is 89 years old and still remains the jewel of my life.. There for me since birth and now she a trail but elegant lady.. I am there for her always..
